I spent over 25 years in the Air Force; the first 10 1/2 years spent on active-duty, the rest of the time I spent as a part-time and then full-time (AGR) National Guardsmen. I finished my career as an active-duty Guardsmen assigned to an Army WMD Civil Support Team in NY state. My Guard time was spent working with fixed and mobile communications. My experience with the WMD-CST was pretty cool. My unit was the first military presence at the World Trade Center on 9/11 and we setup our commo truck to support our team and the FBI (their bldg was destroyed). I retired in Dec. 2006 and have been on the road in a fifth-wheel camper since June 07.
