Career Field Merger

Anyone else hear the rumor that Ground Radio and Airfield Systems are merging? I looked at the career field managers (Scott AFB) website and saw nothing in the minutes.

Negative on the Ground Radio merger with Airfield Systems. As is Airfield is a combination of ATC radio and the previous METNAV to consolidate all nonradar ATC maint into one work center. We just had the new Cyber Command CMSGT brief us on what is going on. You are correct radio will be merged but with the current SATCOM career field.
