Responsibilities:
This is a very simplistic explanation of the DoD Project Manager duties:
Part of a huge initiative involving Joint CONUS Communications Support Environment Program. Working with Coast Guard, Army and Air Force in the areas of networking, communications, IT systems, wired and wireless communication. The successful candidate will be evaluating all of their communications systems to achieve full integration and connectivity with Coast Guard, Army, and Air Force. Just awesome opportunity and very exciting position for the right candidate. Extremely high visibility.
Experience/Qualifications you need to qualify for this position:
(ideal candidate would have the following experience/qualifications)
DoD/Federal program sector
10 years military experience, officer level, Army/Air Force communications/electronics (signal Corps) National Guard experience a huge plus
Bachelors degree, (or better) preferably technical degree
PMP certifications (big plus) and/or very significant project management experience
Must have outstanding oral and written communications capabilities
Active Secret Clearance is a plus.
