CommTroop.net is for current, retired, or former United States Air Force ground communicators of all ranks and AFSC's. This includes military and civilians on duty in the US Air Force, Air Force Reserve Command, or Air National Guard. U.S. Air
Force Ground Communications Units typically include Base Communications, Engineering-Installation, and Combat Communications.
Purpose and Participation
The purpose of CommTroop.net is to provide a un-official community website for U.S. Air Force Ground Communicators.
To participate in CommTroop.net, register for free and then create postings
in your profile, the discussion forums, or submit photos to the gallery.
When registering, we strongly urge you to use a private e-mail address instead of military e-mail. Password management is primarily based on your registered e-mail and since most military e-mail changes
with every change of duty station, validating your password using your old address would be impossible. If you have the new @us.af.mil addresses that follows you from base-to-base, that's also a good choice.
Registered users and un-registered visitors can read your postings and the photo gallery. Only registered users may interact with the website.
Advertising Policy
- Unsolicited, commercial advertising is not allowed anywhere on the membership website except on the
Jobs Board.
- Members seeking civilian employment or employers offering civilian job positions are welcome to post their requirements to the
Jobs Board.
- We reserve the right to remove any content we deem as unsolicited, commercial advertising for a product, service, or company.
Terms of Use
By registering as a user on this site:
- You agree that you are or were a member of a U.S. Air Force Ground Communications Unit.
- You agree not to use profanity, verbal abuse, or slander in your postings or other contributions.
- You agree not to disclose information identified by any entity of the U.S. government as classified or "For Official Use Only", including information that may fall under any current security guidelines as identifiers.
